295 mg of 4-amino-benzonitrile and 6 mg of sodium hydride (60%) in 2.5 ml of N,N-dimethylformamide are treated with 100 mg of 6-chloro-3-(4-methoxy-phenyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4-a]phthalazine (compound B1) at ambient temperature. After 10 min the reaction mixture is added to water, the precipitate is filtered with suction and the solid is recrystallized from N,N-dimethylformamide to yield 107 mg of the title compound.
