Procedure
The compound (188 mg, 0.381 mmol) obtained in Example 28e was dissolved in methylene chloride (4 mL), trifluoroacetic acid (2 mL) was added under ice cooling, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2.5 hours. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and moisture was removed from the resulting residue azeotropically with toluene (×2). The resulting residue was dissolved in methylene chloride (4 mL), triethylamine (0.318 mL, 2.29 mmol) and di-tert-butyl dicarbonate (183 mg, 0.838 mmol) were added, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18.5 hours. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, the resulting residue was dissolved in methylene chloride (4 mL), triethylamine (79 μL, 0.572 mmol) and pivaloyl chloride (49 μL, 0.400 mmol) were added under ice cooling, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 20 minutes. 1-[2-(Methylamino)ethyl]piperidin-4-yl biphenyl-2-ylcarbamate (296 mg, 0.838 mmol) was added under ice cooling, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 hours. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure, and the resulting residue was purified by NH silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate:methanol=50:1, v/v) to give the title compound (196 mg; yield, 66%) as a white solid.
