(R)-2-(2-bromo-1H-imidazol-1-yl)-8-cyclopentyl-7-ethyl-5-methyl-7,8-dihydropteridin-6(5H)-one (Example 65, 150 mg, 0.37 mmol), pyrrolidine (52 mg, 0.74 mmol), Pd2dba3.CHCl3 (76 mg, 0.074 mmol), BINAP (69 mg, 0.11 mmol) and K2CO3 (153 mg, 1.11 mmol) were dissolved in 1 mL of degassed t-BuOH and the resulting solution was heated at 130° C. for 18 h. The reaction mixture was diluted with EtOAc and washed with brine. The organic extracts were dried with Na2SO4, filtered and evaporated, and the residue was purified by preparative HPLC to give the title compound (56 mg). LCMS: 396.2 m/z (M+H)+; ret. Time: 2.76 min (Analytical Method A).
