Procedure

39.19 g of aluminium trichloride (0.294 mol) were added, between 0° C. and 5° C. In 45′ to a solution of 50 g of diphenylether (0.294 mol) and 37.27 ml of α-bromoisobutyrylbromide in 250 ml of dichloromethane.
