200 mg (0.56 mmol) of 1-(naphthaline-1-sulfonyl)octahydrocyclopenta[b]pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid were dissolved in 10 ml of DMF, after which 0.61 mmol of ethyl chloroformate, 1.23 mmol of N-ethylmorpholine and 1.68 mmol of trimethylsilylhydroxylamine were added. After the mixture had been heated at 80° C. for 6 h, the solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the crude product was purified using chromatographic methods.
