To a stirred solution of 3-(1-(3-fluorobenzyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-5-(4-(piperazin-1-yl)phenyl)-1-tosyl-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridine (product of step 1 of example 124) (75 mg, 0.123 mmol), potassium carbonate (24 mg, 0.185 mmol) and DMF (5 ml) was added 2-bromoethanol (24 mg, 0.185 mmol) and the mixture stirred at RT for overnight. Then water was added, this was then extracted into 10% methanol in DCM, organic portion was dried over sodium sulfate and concentrated to give 60 mg (75% yield) of the titled compound. MS: m/z=651.2 (M+1).
