To a solution of 3,4-difluoronitrobenzene (6.36 g, 40 mmol) in EtOAc (60 mL) were added Et3N (12.14 g, 120 mmol) and 3-ethoxypropan-1-amine (4.54 g, 44 mmol). The reaction mixture was refluxed overnight, then cooled to rt and concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound as yellow oil (8.68 g, 90%).
