Procedure

In a manner similar to Description 1 (iii) and (iv), reaction of N-5-hexynylphthalimide, paraformaldehyde and pyrrolidine, followed by treatment with hydrazine hydrate gives 7-pyrrolidinohept-5-ynylamine.
