To a solution of EXAMPLE 385C (325 mg, 1.755 mmol) in a mixture of tetrahydrofuran (16 mL) and N,N-dimethylformamide (8 mL) was added sodium hydride (281 mg, 7.02 mmol) and the mixture was stirred for 30 minutes. 5,6-Dichloropyridine-3-sulfonamide (389 mg) was added and the reaction was stirred for 42 hours. The reaction was quenched with water (5 mL) and concentrated. The residue was diluted with 75% brine (200 mL) and extracted with methylene chloride (3×200 mL). The organics were dried over sodium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated. The residue was purified on silica gel and eluted with a 1, 5, and 10% methanol in methylene chloride step gradient to provide the title compound.
