Procedure

A mixture of N4,N4-dimethyl-N6-(4-methylphenyl)-2-{4-[3-(trifluoromethyl)-2-pyridinyl]-1-piperazinyl}-4,6-pyrimidinediamine (150, mg, 0.33 mmol), m-chloroperbenzoic acid (56 mg, 0.33 mmol) and 30% H2O2 (2 drops) were stirred at 0° C. for 24 hours. The crude product was then treated with saturated NaHCO3 solution (2×100 mL). The organic layer was separated, dried over MgSO4, concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by preparative thin-layer chromatography (eluent: EtOAc), giving the desired product (12 mg, 8%).
