A mixture of 2-(1H-indazol-3-yl)ethanamine hydrochloride (0.040 g; 0.202 mmol), 5-(2,5-difluorobenzyl)isoxazole-3-carboxylic acid (0.053 g; 0.223 mmol) N,N-diisopropylethylamine (0.87 mL; 0.506 mmol) and HATU (0.84 g; 0.223 mmol) in DMF (5 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 18 hours. The reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with sodium hydrogen sulphate, sodium carbonate and brine. The organic layer was dried and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude material was purified by flash chromatography on silica (eluent 1 to 10% methanol in dichloromethane) and by preparative HPLC method 4 to yield 0.007 g (9%) of the title compound as a white solid.
