Procedure

To a solution of ethyl 2-(2-((tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino)pyridin-4-yl)-1,3-oxazole-4-carboxylate (58 mg) in DMF (2 mL) was added a sodium hydride 60% dispersion in mineral oil (9.05 mg), and then 2,2-difluoroethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (74.5 mg) was added thereto. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 30 min, and diluted with ethyl acetate, and water was added thereto. The organic layer was separated, washed with water and saturated brine, and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane) to give the title compound (69.4 mg).
