Procedure

50 mg of 6-(1H-imidazol-1-yl)-2-phenylquinazoline are suspended in 4 mL of isopropanol, the suspension is heated at 70° C. for a few minutes, and then filtered and left to evaporate slowly at room temperature, at rest. The crystals obtained are analysed. XRPD: Form B. TGA: weight loss: 6.8% (theoretical value for C17H12N4.H2O: 6.2%), TGA-IR in accordance with the spectrum of H2O for the released vapours. Form B may be obtained analogously from n-propanol and from ethanol.
