{1-[2-(5-Ethynyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-pyrrolidine-1-carbonyl]-2-methyl-propyl}-carbamic acid methyl ester (46 mg, 0.144 mmol), (1-{2-[5-(4-Bromo-phenyl)-1H-imidazol-2-yl]-pyrrolidine-1-carbonyl}-2-methyl-propyl)-carbamic acid methyl ester (78 mg, 0.173 mmol), Pd(PPh3)4 (17 mg, 0.0144 mmol), CuI (5 mg, 0.0288 mmol) and triethylamine (0.200 mL, 1.44 mmol) were suspended in DMF (1.5 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at 80° C. for 2 hours then 1 mL of water was added and the mixture was purified by reverse phase preparative HPLC, giving (1-{2-[5-(4-{2-[1-(2-Methoxycarbonylamino-3-methyl-butyryl)-pyrrolidin-2-yl]-3H-imidazol-4-yl}-phenylethynyl)-1H-imidazol-2-yl]-pyrrolidine-1-carbonyl}-2-methyl-propyl)-carbamic acid methyl ester (24 mg, 24%). 1H NMR (MeOH-d4, 400 MHz) 7.65 (d, J=8.2 hz, 2H), 7.45 (d, J=8.2 hz, 2H), 7.38 (s, 1H), 7.22 (s, 1H), 6.98 (m, 1H), 5.17 (m, 1H), 5.11 (m, 1H), 4.25-4.20 (m, 2H), 4.01-3.79 (m, 4H), 3.66 (s, 6H), 2.37-2.00 (m, 10H), 0.99-0.89 (m, 12H); MS (ESI) m/z 687 [M+H]+.
