To a solution of the compound obtained from step o above (0.31 g) in methanol (5 mL), potassium carbonate (0.094 g) was added at 0° C. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. The reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (50 mL), acidified with sodium hydrogen sulphate, and washed with water (20 mL). The organic layer was dried over anhydrous sodium sulphate and concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain a residue which was purified by preparative thin layer chromatography using 10% methanol in dichloromethane as eluant to afford the title compound (0.020 g).
