7-[(4′-Trifluoromethyl-biphenyl-2-carbonyl)-amino]-quinoline-3-carboxylic acid (50 mg, 0.11 mmol) was combined with 3-fluorobenzylamine (14 mg, 0.11 mmol), 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide hydrochloride (26 mg, 0.14 mmol), 1-hydroxybenzotriazole (17 mg, 0.13 mmol), and triethylamine (0.064 ml, 0.46 mmol) in 1 ml of dichloromethane. After stirring overnight at ambient temperature, the reaction mixture was diluted with 30 ml of ethyl acetate, and the organic phase washed sequentially with water, and brine, and then dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered and concentrated under vacuum to afford 49 mg of the title compound as a colorless solid.
