2-Amino-4-(4-amino-3-chlorophenoxy)pyridine (600 mg), 1-t-butyloxycarbonylpiperidine-4-carboxylic acid (700 mg), benzotriazol-1-yloxytris(dimethylamino)phosphonium hexafluorophosphate (Bop Reagent) (1.4 g), triethylamine (0.71 ml) and dimethylformamide (10 ml) were stirred at 60° C. for 3.5 hours and then at room temperature for 19 hours. Water was added to the reaction solution, extraction was performed with ethyl acetate and the organic layer was washed with water, after which silica gel was added and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. The silica gel was charged into a dry column packed with silica gel, and purification was performed by column chromatography (hexane:ethyl acetate=1:1, followed by ethyl acetate) to obtain 660 mg of a reddish-brown powder.
