N-bromo succinimide (195 mg) was added to a solution of 6-difluoromethoxy-2-(3fluoro-phenyl)-pyrazolo[1,5-b]pyridazine (251 mg) and sodium bicarbonate (185 mg) in anhydrous DMF (10 ml) and stirred for 18 h. The reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate (300 ml) and washed with water (10×20 ml), brine (20 ml), dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated to give the title compound as a solid (293 mg, 91%).
