To a solution of 6-(2,4-difluorophenyl)-1-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-2-oxo-2H-quinolizine-7-carboxylic acid (Example 53, 21 mg) in THF was added EDC (20 mg), HOBt (10 mg) and ammonium hydroxide (0.1 mL) at room temperature. After stirring for 2 h, the mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with water, brine, dried over MgSO4 and concentrated. The residue was purified by silica gel (methylene chloride/methanol=20/1) to give the title compound (17 mg).
