Procedure
A mixture of 1.58 g of 6-chloronicotinic acid and 1.62 g of 1,1'-carbonyldiimidazole in 30 ml of tetrahydrofuran was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours. Then 1.52 g of 1H-imidazole-1-pentanamine was added. The procedure of Example 36 was followed to conclusion and gave 2.3 g of the compound of the Example as white crystals, mp 110°-112° C.
