A solution of Intermediate 103D (461 mg, 0.814 mmol) in anhydrous DMF (0.5 mL) was added to a suspension of NaH (65 mg, 1.627 mmol) (60% in mineral oil) at 0° C. After stirring for 5 min, BnBr (0.484 mL, 4.07 mmol) was added. The reaction mixture was warmed to rt and stirred for 1 h. The reaction was diluted with EtOAc, washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by silica gel chromatography (4 g silica gel, eluted with EtOAc in hexanes) to yield the desired product (260 mg, 44%) as a yellow gum. 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.75 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 7.33-7.27 (m, 3H), 7.14 (dd, J=7.3, 2.1 Hz, 2H), 6.80 (d, J=9.1 Hz, 2H), 4.46-4.38 (m, 2H), 4.00-3.95 (m, 2H), 3.72 (br. s., 1H), 3.51 (br. s., 1H), 3.35-3.10 (m, 2H), 2.37-2.25 (m, 2H), 2.09-1.99 (m, 2H), 1.70-1.39 (m, 6H), 1.34-1.29 (m, 9H).
