Procedure

A solution of [6-chloro-3-(3-methyl-4-oxo-1-phenyl-1,3,8-triaza-spiro[4.5]decane-8-carbonyl)-indol-1-yl]-acetic acid in DMF was treated sequentially with 1 eq. of O-(7-azabenzotriazol-1-yl)-N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyluronium hexafluorophosphate, 1 eq. of N,N-diisopropylethylamine and 1 eq. of N,N-dimethylethylenediamine. The mixture was shaken at room temperature for 12 h, concentrated and purified by prep. HPLC to give the title compound.
