4.840 mg of concentrated hydrobromic acid was added to 0.89 ml of a solution of 1-(2-fluorophenyl)-3-(piperidin-4-yloxy)-1H-indazole in MeOH (concentration=10.3 mg/ml). The solution was placed under a stream of N2 gas until no solvent remained. Approximately 0.5 ml of MTBE was added and the sample was left open and stirred overnight. A white solid remained upon recovery.
