A mixture of 1-6 (200 mg, 0.74 mmol), 5-7 (202 mg, 0.74 mmol), NMM (366 mL, 3.33 mmol), HOBT (130 mg, 0.96 mmol) and EDC (184 mg, 0.96 mmol) in 2 mL DMF was stirred overnight. After diluting with EtOAc (100 mL), the mixture was washed with sat. NaHCO3, water, and brine, dried (MgSO4), filtered and concentrated, and chromatographed on silica (10% EtOH/EtOAc) providing 5-8 as a colorless glass.
