Procedure

5.0 g of methyl 2,6-dichloronicotinate was dissolved in ml of dimethylformamide, and 4.39 g of (S)-(−)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)ethylamine, 6.27 g of diisopropylethylamine and 150 mg of 4-dimethylaminopyridine were added thereto, and the mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 24 hours. The reaction solution was cooled, and then diluted with ethyl acetate, and washed in turn with water and brine, and the organic layer was dried over magnesium sulfate. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure, and then the obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to obtain 2.83 g of the objective compound as white powder.
