Procedure

H2O, 688 mg (3.6 mmol) of EDCI.HCl, 1.315 g (3.6 mmol) of compound 4, and 2.1 mL (15 mmol) of triethylamine (NEt3) were added to 20 mL of dried DMF containing 233 mg (1 mmol) of compound 5, and this solution was stirred at room temperature for 15 hours. The solution was diluted with ethyl acetate. The organic phase was washed with saturated sodium bicarbonate and salt water and then dried over magnesium sulfate. This solution was concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain a residue. The identification data of this compound 6 is as follows:
