To a solution of 4-methoxy-3-(4-(morpholin-4-yl)phenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-c]pyridine (250 mg), 1,4,7,10,13-pentaoxacyclopentadecane (266 mg) and 3,4,5-trifluorobenzonitrile (152 mg) in DMF (5 ml) was added sodium hydride (60%, 48.03 mg) at 0° C., and the mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 1 hr. To the reaction mixture was added saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate solution, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was washed with, saturated brine, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (ethyl acetate/hexane) to give the title compound (250 mg).
