Procedure

A solution of triphenylphosphine (443 mg) in THF (25 ml) was cooled to 0° C., and DIAD (340 μl) was added thereto dropwise. The reaction mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 1 hour. 4-Chloro-5-iodo-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine (363 mg) and the (2S,4R)-tert-butyl 2-((tert-butyldiphenylsilyloxy)methyl)-4-hydroxypyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (651.6 mg) obtained in Example 28 (Step 1) were added thereto, and stirred at room temperature overnight. Ethyl acetate and water were added to separate the organic layer. The organic layer was dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (developing solvent: hexane/ethyl acetate) to obtain the title compound as a light-yellow, amorphous substance (400 mg). m/z [M+H]+ 718.5
