Under argon, 100 mg (1.20 mmol) 5-methylisoxazole are dissolved in 2 ml ethanol and 81.90 mg (1.20 mmol) sodium ethanolate are added. The mixture is stirred at room temperature for one hour. Then 272.24 mg (1.20 mmol) of the compound of Example 2A, 157.82 mg (1.20 mmol) 4-formylbenzonitrile and 10.25 mg (11.90 μl, 0.12 mmol) piperidine are added to the mixture which is stirred at reflux overnight. After the reaction is finished, the mixture is purified by preparative HPLC.
