60 mg of {4-[5-(2,5-difluorophenoxy)-7-propoxyoxazolo[5,4-d]pyrimidin-2-yl]-2,6-dimethylphenoxy}acetic acid were dissolved in 1 ml of N,N-dimethylformamide, and 35 mg of 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride, 7 mg of 1-hydroxy-7-azabenzotriazole and 139 μl of N,N-diisopropylethylamine were added, and 5 min later 17 mg of tert-butyl L-prolinate were added. After 16 h at room temperature, 10 ml of water were added, after which the mixture was adjusted to pH 3 by addition of 2 M aqueous hydrochloric acid and extracted twice with ethyl acetate. The combined organic layers were washed with saturated sodium bicarbonate solution and sodium chloride solution, dried and concentrated under reduced pressure. This gave 61 mg of the title compound.
