To a solution of 7-bromo-1-(2,6-difluorophenyl)-2H-quinolizin-2-one (100 mg) was added 1ethynyl-2,4-difluorobenzene (82 mg), triethylamine (0.17 ml), dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)palladium (25 mg), CuI (6 mg) in DMF was heated to 100° C. until reaction complete. The mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate, washed with water (4×), brine, dried over MgSO4, and concentrated to yield crude material. The crude material was purified by silica gel chromatography (100% ethyl acetate) to yield the title compound.
